Aerial Tour of Scenic Lake Cumberland
Use the form below to request your vacation flight. We will do our best to book the date and time you request, and can certainly accomodate your flight during a one week stay. Flights are operated Monday- Saturday from April 1, 2010 until October 30, 2010 with all departures booked in advance. Once a time and date have been tentatively scheduled, we request that you submit payment to confirm.
Departures from Somerset regional airport will be from the executive terminal on the North side of the runway, next to the Community College. Departures from Jamestown will be from the new airport Terminal on C. Smith Rd.
We use Cessna 172 and 182 aircraft, seating three passengers each. The tour will take you from Somerset at the East end of Lake Cumberland, along the North shore to the West end; or from the Dam on the West end along the South shore with plenty of time to circle your house or hotel for photos. We'll make a U-turn at the other end, descend to tree top level over the middle of the Lake, making a slow troll back to your departure point. Lasting about an hour, at just $300, this is sure to be the highlight of your stay on Lake Cumberland and the one memory your children carry for the rest of their lives!
